Member Appreciation Day 2008

On Saturday August 23 Chapter 66 had a Member Appreciation Day. It all started with Breakfast seved by AMVETS Auxiliary at the Post 8 am. A group of 10 Motorcycles & 14 Members were present. After Breakfast we set out for Indian Lake. Our first stop was Froggy's at the lake on Turkeyfoot Point. Froggy's is a full service resort with a Restaurant, Bar, Campgrounds, Boat Docks, Townhouse Rentals and a pool with a poolside bar.
The poolside bar. We should have worn our swimsuits!	Next stop 1/4 mile down Turkeyfoot Pt, the Tilton Hilton.
The Tilton Hilton on County Road 293. They are the 2nd Bar on the right on Turkeyfoot Point! Home of the World Famous Half Pound Cheeseburger! This is a burger that I haven't seen the likes of since my last visit to Sloppy Joe's on Key West.
	After lunch we were off again next stop our Post Commander's parent's home on Indian Lake.
	It was a beautiful day at the lake . The Dunlevy's hospitality was wonderful. They really made the Riders feel at home. The have got it made at their little spot in paradise.
	The Webmaster in the chase vehicle had to eat some dust!
All in all it was a great day to be in Ohio. Temperautures in the 80's comfortable humidity and not a rain cloud in sight.	Upon returning to the Post we were welcomed by Rex who cooked us all Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Bratwurst and all the fixins.
